Description of organisation
Beit Sefer Ilanot was founded in 1989. It is a public school for people with serious mental and physical handicaps in Jerusalem. Most of the children and adolescents have several diseases. They are sitting in a wheelchair or need a walker. There are about 86 students at the school. The 11 grades are divided by age groups and types of diseases. Each teacher has two assistants who help him caring for the children during class.
- This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
