Description of organisation

Acknowledging Youths CIC is a youth-led organization focused on delivering high-quality training courses and providing support with internships and work experience for young people who want to succeed in the world of work. The power of an idea or a project is something that Acknowledging Youths relishes and thrives on. Acknowledging Youths has a A VISION, a vision to harness unlimited talent found in the youths of today.

Our vision is to see all young people given a chance to be educated, to learn, to be guided along a career path and to work. To provide that opportunity for all and in particular those from disadvantaged backgrounds, NEET and BME groups.

Our vision is to raise young people’s aspirations and give the opportunity to succeed through created programmes to develop, teach, educate and provide guidance through each step they take. AY wants to improve the prospects for young disadvantaged people to find employment and a career. We want to create better chances of sustained employment in a career of their choosing. However we want individuals to recognise their capabilities and suitability to alternative career paths.

It is our aim to increase young people’s confidence and economic well-being. What we are expecting and hoping for the future is a generation more engaged with learning and able to pass that positivity onto their children.
