Description of organisation

Natuurhulpcentrum vzw is a wildlife rescue centre. The 4 main goals are:
1. intake, rehabilitation and release of native wildlife (mostly birds and mammals)
2. intake, temporary housing and relocation to animal parks, zoos, sanctuaries etc. of exotic animals (mostly birds, mammals and reptiles)
3. intake and relocation to private owners of certain tame animals (pets), e.g. rabbits, guinea pigs, goat, sheep, fallow deer, chicken, parakeets
4. education concerning wildlife and nature in general
The main activities are animal care, guidance of visitors (schools, other groups), generating money through several activities (as a non-profit organisation), recruiting members, creating membership magazines, news updates via social media.
Target groups are not specific. It can be anyone from young to old with an interest in animals and nature in general.
