description of organisation

The Murcia Clean Region Association is a non-profit organization that works in communication, outreach, education and environmental technical advice: mainly in the separation and management of waste. Our main objective is to communicate and raise awareness about the environmental impact of our activities and respect for the environment;
provide tools for a more sustainable, conscious and eco-responsible life; a life that generates less waste and is based on the principles of the circular economy.
The target audience is society in general and, in particular, emphasis is placed on the training and engagement of young people. We do environmental training using non-formal and informal education techniques and traditional game dynamics. We use various forums to disseminate: science and technology fairs, craft fairs, popular festivals, music
concerts, open-air markets ... We are very involved in collaborating with the environment by doing citizen science activities on the abandonment of waste in different contexts. We share the information we collect with local, national and international organizations. We own a 20 Ha farm in the countryside.
At present it is being reforested with local plants adapted to drought to recover its biodiversity. We help companies to develop their Corporate Social Responsibility policies by collaborating in the reforestation of these lands with the help of their employees and our own volunteers.
