The mission of Hodina H is to get, elaborate and provide information first of all to children and young people, to ensure in
this way their right to have information, support permanent and sustainable learning and personal development, full valued
leisure time spending, to develop international cooperation, voluntarism, active participation of children, young
people and the general public in the public happening, to assist and facilitate the citizens' education. Special emphasis is
put on the services for children, young people and young people with fewer opportunities. The seniors – elderly people,
parents with children and the general public are not missed out.
The main fields of work of Hodina H are information, non-formal education, volunteering, international cooperation,
personal development, environmental awareness and sustainability, local community development.
The Hodina H target groups are children age of 2+, young people till the age of 30, adults, seniors, specific target groups
related to the specific educational activities and programmes, projects and areas of cooperation with partners ( e.g.
unemployed, youth offenders), youth workers, families, public. Within the cooperation with the authorities and other
institutions in specific long-term projects, teachers and youth workers also belong to the target group.
Regular activities of Hodina H, areas of activities are: information (Youth Information centre, Seniorpoint, primary
prevention consultation, MAP project partner - consultation and support, Info-points at the schools in the region, Eurodesk
partner, newsletter, FB information pages, etc.), leisure time (Leisure time clubs, events, multi-sectorial activities for the
leisure time, workshops), events (traditional events, community events and happenings, regional events, online events,
campaigns, street events, exhibitions and cultural events), educational activities (presentation, trainings, workshops,
seminars, exchange of experience, international trainings and meetings, Edumanie - festival of education, thematical and
intercultural programmes), international cooperation (youth work, education of the youth workers, adult education,
traineeship, ESC volunteering, Erasmus+ Sport projects, etc.), volunteering (ESC, local volunteering, education of the
volunteers), solidarity actions (cooperation with the social department, elderly houses and organisations working in the
social fields), innovation actions (projects addressed to the needs, new reality, specific topics and interest among the
target group, networking projects). There is also a large network of partners which Hodina H belongs to (NGOs, schools,
local and regional authorities, other institutions) implementing a diverse spectrum of activities and events.
Hodina H was established in 2002, has over 200 members, over 30 volunteers, 3 sisters' organisations working as its
branches.
Since Hodina H has been founded there was a present international and intercultural element. The team of Hodina H is
very experienced in the fields of activities, at the same time the team is open for new members and open to learning,
developing, improving.
Hodina H is very open and flexible for the actual and relevant needs of the target groups what is projected every year
plan, strategy and priorities.
Hodina H applies the following values in the work and activities: awareness, understanding and cooperation, mutual
understanding and cooperation among people, mutual understanding among nations and cultures, participation in social
development, thoughtfulness towards nature, respect to people of all generations, the culture of responsibility, trust, equal
approach, responsibility for self-development.

This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
