In our Kindergarten there are 11 groups with 249 children. Our fundamental activity: Kindergarten education of children aged of 3-7. Our institution is innovative, open to adopt new pedagogical methods. We educate the children in rich stimulus milieu, we would like to train them curious, free, tolerant persons, who are open for new things. We keep active contact with parents and cooperate other partners organising common programs in our city.
There are some specialities in our education aims and activities:
- We focus on the Hungarian and German ethnic traditions added to the german language education.
- Children with less opportunities, or light degree mentally disabled children are integrated to normal groups with help of a generative educator.
- The environmental education is an important part in our association
- We visit the museum regularly participate in several workshops
Weekly and daily work schedule is planned that defines the areas of children's development. We introduce them the outside world, nature, healthy lifestyle, representing different professions and crafts, math games, traditions, songs, dances stories, poems.
Acceptance of different cultures is important in our institute. Our goal is to broaden and enrich the European and international atmosphere in the Kindergarten. We want to provide an open and creative basis for the development of the personality of children receiving foreign volunteers who support our work and enrich the activities.
In the Kindergartetn there is an agenda in which the topic of the activities are variable. The volunteers will work with the Kindergarten teachers according the agenda and they get possibity to show their creativity and developing their skills. Besides the daily Kindergarten work they participate organising family programs (holidays, excursions, open days) enriching these events. We cooperate with the local primary school, organising common programs. The volunteers contribute in this programs too.
