Our organisation was founded in 1997. We have several activities (Supported Employment Service, Family Day Care, Restaurant with handicapped workers). Our aim to strength the social sensibility dissolving the negative feelings.
The topic of the volunteer host project, our family supporting activity in a DAY CARE CENTRE for small children and Families. It is a general daily care of health children who have normal family background, providing additional services for the families. Our work is more flexible than a normal kindergarten, the work based on real local claims which supply is not provided by governmental organisations. The foundation helps families in their social and pedagogical problems, with specialmconsidering of prevention, correction, personal developing.
Regular activities:
Our tasks: take care of the children, improve their skills, develop their personality.
- personal support oriented to the individual requirements
- teaching songs and short poems
- playing in the garden – free time plays, games
- going to outside programs
- programs for the older children
- organizing programs with the families of the children (open days, holidays, intercultural events)
The target group in this project:
Generally 12-15 children (between 1-4) in the Day Care and several occasions their family in
common programs.
“Care of small children and support their family with several services” - It is the fundamental topic of our Family Day Care Centre. We would like to develop the family supporting activity involving various methods to our work, providing programs for the older children and the whole families too. Our motivation receiving volunteers is to increase the quality of our daily work providing an open atmosphere in our organisation, to introduce different point of view from another country into our work. We would like to enrich the life of the children and also the work our staff members. Our task to train children and provide services for families. The children are open to receive new things and delighted at every variety. In our association is important aim to develop the skills to accept different
cultures. Our organization would like to offer the chance to the volunteers to get new skills and intercultural knowledge, which will be important for their future life.
We would like to host volunteers for long term, one volunteer for a 10-12 month period. We have already hosted more volunteers from Germany, France, Poland, Finland and Turkey. We started to host volunteers in 2002 as a receiving organisation. We have received positive feedback
from all participants involved in the projects. The children accepted foreign young people with big curiosity and pleasure, and the families were proud of the “intercultural experience” of their children.
The volunteers will live in a rented flat with other volunteers, near the downtown of Szekszárd. The flat has ever necessery things and internet connection. Money for food and bycicle (it it is needed) will be provided.

This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
