Description of organisation

The CVJM Blaustein e.V. is located in Blaustein, a city with approximately 17,000 inhabitants, only 10 km away from the well-known city Ulm. Our organisation offers various leisure arivities not only for kids, teens and young adults but also for senior citizens. Our standard offer includes: winter and summer camp for children at the age of 7 up to 13 years, afternoon coffee fo senior citizens, weekly groups for kids and teenagers (TEN SING - music pedagogical project for 12 months each), cooperation with schools (i.e. info meetings about topics such as risk prevention for internet, alcohol, drugs etc. and assistance/care during homework hours), excursions and many other activities in our club house.
The CVJM Blaustein e.V. counts about 140 members, approx. 20 members are working on a permanent however unpaid basis. We are a member of the Evang. Jugendwerk, the CVJM Landesverband as well as the international YMCA organisation. Additionally we habe a strong cooperation with the local protestant churches and the local comunity.
