Description of organisation

The purposes of the Platform are built by virtue of some general objectives:
1. Promote, promote and enhance volunteering in society, as well as social awareness regarding their contributions.
2. Study the existing legal reality and promote, consequently, the appropriate legal frameworks that allow promoting and developing the importance of volunteering in Valencian society.
3. Serve as a framework for the defense of the interests and independence of the entities in their work of promotion and volunteer action.
4. Get and contribute more human, technical and financial resources for volunteer organizations.
5. Serve as a valid interlocutor for volunteering before the Public Administration, the business world, the media and the rest of the social agents.
6. Promote real equality in rights and opportunities among all people, without distinction of sex, gender, race, beliefs or physical, mental, intellectual or sensory capacities.
7. Promote Social Innovation.
8. Encourage the creation of social economy projects.
9. Contribute to the dissemination, awareness and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda.
10. Promote Corporate Social Responsibility among public and private entities.
11. Encourage the adoption of "Social Clauses" in the hiring of people or companies, in particular as it corresponds to the assessment of volunteer work.

  • This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
