Be International is a non-governmental organization based in Brno which goes beyond the surface of globalization and comfort zones. The organization was established in 2009 and is active on local, regional and European level.

In Be International, we raise awareness of different issues related to global society, empower young people and support activism in the field of youth participation in civic society. Our main mission is to help the youth to realize their own ideas and contribute to the development of a tolerant and responsible global society. Topics covered by our organisation would be: intercultural learning, tolerance, gender equality, non-violence, human rights, media awareness, active citizenship, youth empowerment but also gamification.

Be International focuses on connecting theoretical knowledge with practice. We use methods of non-formal education and we allow young people to get important skills for organizing public events that promote tolerant, open-minded and intercultural society.

Be International has vast experience in international projects, including training courses, youth exchanges all over the Europe and Caucasus, as well as several EVS/ESC projects (as lead and sending organization). Locally, we organize public forums, workshops, trainings, international evenings, as well as public events oriented to the Syrian community in Brno.
