Description of organisation

The associative project is based on joint voluntary activities aimed at meeting the needs of society in its various dimensions and problems. The project was born, grows and develops thanks to the will of its participants to reproduce and consolidate the values of hospitality, solidarity, civic and ecological education in order to develop a world more human where people are at the center and can fully develop their potential. The project aims to meet the needs of children struggling with various problems: dropping out of school, family problems, psychological, social and all the basic needs of unaccompanied minors. At the same time, the association offers to the unemployed and marginal members of society the possibility of finding a place where their hidden abilities are welcomed. That is possible thanks to an inclusive approach aimed at promoting values and ecological awareness.
The fields of involvement comprehend activities of prevention and social inclusion. Solidarity as arts and culture are implemented within the framework of the Education, Initiatives and
Research. We define our aims are defined as it follows.
· Prevention: Individual and/or collective process to become aware of the interest of preserving our physical and moral integrity.
· Social inclusion: Process allowing the person to become aware of their place and their ability to interact in society. That is favored by the adoption of a unique status so-called "Beneficiary - Actor".
· Solidarity: Process through which the person discovers the common good as a fundamental element to live better together.
· Arts and culture: Process that brings the person to awareness through self and collective expression of belonging to indivisible humanity and recognition of the otherness.
The project is managed by the Sahel Vert association, which since 1991 has been developing this type of activity with continuity and passion.
Four areas of expertise are identified and organized to manage our regular activities. They account for the following: administrative, educational, technical and communicative. In general, each person involved in the association employs his skills and contributes to the collective dynamic stemming from the “Action-Reflection-Training” triptych promoting the acquisition of new skills.
The associative project is achieved with the complementary contribution of the activity of the following 3 Poles: Education (Training), Initiative (Action), Research (Reflection).
The Education pole is a space for conceptualizing a personal project for young people aimed at: combating stigma, implementing social integration path prior to professional integration and / or prevention acts of deviance. The idea is to involve young people in a strong project with a view to better structuring and identity construction, allowing them to integrate or reintegrate common law systems.
The Initiatives pole is a space for mobilizing the public through various solidarity co-production workshops. The so-called "atelier" are places of professional expression for adults that contribute with technical training for the education of young people. The pole of initiatives allows the expression of skills of the target audience to initiate an entrepreneurial approach within a collective work. Finally, the activities produce goods and services from which each person involved can partially benefit through the agreed status of "Beneficiary - Actor".
The Research pole is a space for implementing Participatory Action Research, integrated into a dynamic "Action Reflection Formation ". It allows to reveal the unknown in order to identify how to make the whole activities of the association more and more effective and sustainable.
