Description of organisation

It oversees all the projects of the Administration at local, regional, national and European level both in public and private areas and is now in charge of planning, presenting, managing, coordinating and implementing every project of ESC (sending and hosting organization), managing and coordinating information and guidance activities concerning ESC and Erasmus + program. It continuously implement international youth mobility projects with different other internal and external sectors to strengthen the sense of European participation and belonging, mutual knowledge, solidarity and integration in young people. It coordinates and manages all the other participation and active citizenship projects (universal civil service, youth guarantee, leva civica) that every year allow, to more than 100 young people, to have access and to active participate in these important growth and empowerment paths, including young people with few opportunities (migrants, asylum seekers other young people).
It deals with informing and guiding young people in the sectors of training, work, culture, leisure time, volunteering and youth international mobility, he is specialized in the promotion and use of communication and information systems (data base, social media and web tools). It is specialized in promoting and using information and communication tools (data bases, social media and web tools). It’s responsible for organizing events and information, guidance and active job search paths.
Comic Centre aims to highlight how Comics are a reality (cultural and learning) always in step with the times. Knowing, learning and deepening everything that exists before the final work allows to know all phases prior to publication (script, drawing, colouring, revision, production, promotion, diffusion etc.) and discover a series of related professional skills and how have access to them. Organizes workshops, training courses, events, exhibitions to promote and disseminate comics. CC has recently opened up to a broader vision by involving readers with less opportunities (migrants and the disabled) creating paths, moments and activities dedicated to them.
The Museum System of the city of Cremona deals with the cultural heritage preserved in city museums with particular regard to conservation, cataloguing, research and promotion. It currently consists of the A. Ponzone Civic Museum (Pinacoteca and musical instrument’s section), the Archaeological Museum dedicated to Roman Cremona, the Natural History Museum and " Cambonino Vecchio" farmhouse-museum of rural civilization. It also has: a didactic section, a laboratory for ordinary and conservative heritage’s maintenance a documentary archive and a specialized library. The MS has seen increasing the number of immigrant citizens, (1st and 2nd generation children, students, young people, and their families), that participate in its activities (visits to museum heritage, educational paths to "approach" museums and their collections, expressive artistic workshops). It evaluates this trend as an important and effective tool for the socio-cultural integration of the beneficiaries by hosting cultural activities designed and implemented by the migrants themselves in their exhibition spaces.
Its tasks are: information and guidance for foreign and Italian citizens, for public administrations and associations of the third sector about the themes of immigration, citizenship and services; support and guidance to associations of immigrants for the development of projects; dissemination of information about the intercultural initiatives and news about immigration and inclusion; specific activities to improve "inclusion" of foreign citizens; promotion of intercultural and inter-religious dialogue; implementation of projects of cooperation and co-development together with immigrants' associations. It is home to the Anti-Discrimination Desk which is responsible for planning and implementing activities and initiatives for the promotion of rights on an equal basis.
Develops strategies and actions to promote the tourist destination of the city of Cremona and its territory on a national and international level. Coordinates the activity of the tourist Info point of the city of Cremona which welcomes visitors by providing them with all the information they need, informs citizens of what is happening in the city in terms of events and new cultural activities. It deals with cultural activities and tourism promotion, taking care in particular of national and international relationships and collaborations.
The direct beneficiaries of the services listed here above are young people from 3 to 30 years old, but also the adults who are their point of reference (families, teachers, educators and volunteers).
