Open Space Association is a Székesfehérvár (Hungary) based NGO. With its 16 professional youth and social workers, teaching professionals, sign-language interpreter members and enthusiastic volunteers, it is a Eurodesk partner, thus a promoter of the Erasmus+ and other programmes.
Our main missions include:
+Promotion of the social equality of people with fewer opportunities
+Protection of the human and civil rights + Social activities, family support
+Child and youth protection
+Promotion of the employment of people who would like to return to the labour market
+Health care, prevention, rehabilitation, info providing
+Environmental education
+Education and coaching, development of abilities, disseminate knowledge
+Nature and environmental protection
+Scientific activity, research
+Cultural activity
+Promotion of Sport / Education Through and Inclusion Through Sports
+Promotion of the European integration

We have a strong interest in local community development. We are also working in Agárd/Gárdony, Velence and in Pátka. It is really important to show local people that we are living in Europe, and that beside our national values, we also have European values, and we are European citizens.
Our target groups are:
+Local citizens age 13+
+Families and Young people (ages 13-30)
+Professionals (teachers, social-, and youth workers, local politicians, local entrepreneurs)

Our regular activities include:
+Seasonally different community strengthening activities
+Sports and Info days (Eurodesk, Erasmus+)
+Out-reach work
+Summer camps and mentoring (short and long term)
+Hosting, organising youth exchanges
+Sending groups and individuals to abroad to different programmes (youth exchanges, camps, training courses, seminars)

We have already achieved so much, including:
+hosted/organised/coordinated over 30 youth exchanges and more than 12 international training courses
+hosted/organised/coordinated more than 100 local trainings and conferences, camps, thematic days, other different events
+hosted 4 international volunteers, and sent more than 10 enthusiasts abroad
+had 2 members participating in a Grundtvig Senior Voluntary Service Programme for 50+ people, which they found to be a really helpful and enriching experience.
+have an EMMI registration (no. 1246) as an organisation which works with volunteers.

This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
