AzBuki was founded in 2011. as a nonprofit, non-governmental organization for youth. Organization is located in Nis, Sebia. The objectives of the organization are: promotion of youth, development of their potential, knowledge, skills, abilities and creativity, respect for human rights, dignity and equal opportunities for young people; promotion of understanding and tolerance between young people from different countries and cultures, intercultural dialogue and cooperation; Improvement the position of young people in society, and especially the active participation of young people in society, informing young people, promotion and implementation of formal and non-formal education programs, youth employment, youth safety, youth health and the role of young people in sustainable development and environmental protection; promotion of European integration and Eu values, etc. The Organization implements its activities following the principles of social justice and responsibility and not allowing any acts of discrimination and conflict of interests. The Organization works for achieving its objectives through organizing trainings, forums and meetings, project development and implementation, cooperation with other organizations, institutions, local government organizing exhibitions, workshops, performances, debates, healthy life events and initiatives, festivals, organization of cultural initiatives and events, developing youth media portal and materials. We work for and with young people to provide more opportunities for their development and future.
All local activities are inclusive and give opportunity to all people and groups from community to participate. We have partners on local level, like elementary and secondary schools, Universities, local government, Regional Chamber of Commerce, National Employment Service, Youth cultural center and other Institutions and organizations. Membership in National Youth Umbrella as well as organizing local activities gives opportunity to our young members and volunteers to improve their personal skills and rise capacity of organization and local community through participation in trainings, conferences, round tables, etc. With a lot of local projects like: Young Debaters, Elf kids, We are working for better homes, Informative portal for youth, Turn on live (national), etc, we are one of the most active youth organization in our city. There are Debating and Volunteering Club within organization, as well as Home for learning with courses for foreign languages and workshops for all ages people named Griffindom. Youth portal Re(d)action gives chance to young people to improve their skills for journalism, communication and authors’ texts and share valuable information to all youth in Serbia about EU programs, calls, education, job, etc. Media portal for for artists (musicians, writers, painters, street artists…) is in developing phase. We have about 50 active members and more than 80 volunteers.
Since 2014 we are partner in Erasmus+ program and have been realized a lot of projects within mobility for youth workers and young people. About 30 youth mobilities (exchanges and trainings) were implemented within Erasmus+ programme and around 300 young people were participated, informed and include in exchanges or follow up activities. Around one third of all youth are youth with fewer opportunities and disabilities.
We are developing training materials and platforms free to use through local and EU Programmes like Erasmus+ strategic partnerships, Ryco, COE / EYF and IPA CBC Programme. KA2 inclusive project Acs2Youth coordinating by Azbuki is declared as good practice example.

This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
