SEAL, established in 2014, is a non-profit organization based in Nicosia. Our mission is:
1. To promote social inclusion by supporting young people with fewer opportunities (i.e., people who face social barriers, financial barriers, disabilities, learning difficulties, cultural differences, health problems, or geographical difficulties), migrants and refugees to participate in political, social and cultural life and to practice active citizenship.
2. To provide continuous education to youth professionals.
3. To promote the recognition, validation, and certification of non-formal education, life-long learning, and youth work.
5. To promote quality improvements in youth work and training, through cooperation between organisations in the youth field and/or other stakeholders at European and international levels.
6. To forward dialogue and cooperation in the fields of education and training, human rights education, career guidance, vocational training, environment, sustainable development, culture, sports, employment, entrepreneurship, and more.
SEAL CYPRUS supports the professional development of youth workers, adult educators, trainers, through the implementation of educational activities at national level, hosting 15 Erasmus+ mobility for youth workers projects (international training courses), and sending hundreds of young people and youth workers in mobility projects abroad.
In 2021, we implemented Job Labs and Entrepreneurship Labs for 200 youth (NEET) in Cyprus.
