Description of organisation

"Meshy" (Media, Education, Soustenability, Hospitality, Yeah) is an association made up mainly of young people. The organization starts from the concept that the individual must pursue a double growth: personal and social. The identification and cultivation of their talents must correspond to the sharing of the same with the community. This in full awareness that we can influence the environment around us and vice versa. The association pursues the following objectives: to spread and promote local culture, also on an international level; to increase the knowledge and authentic expressions linked to the territory, through the contact between people, organizations and associations and valorising the talents that naturally occur in the area; to represent and spread the culture of international interest in strategic places; improve the critical and dialectical approach through non-formal learning; supporting social, cultural and professional growth through self-awareness and talent cultivation; RESEARCH and the promotion of healthy lifestyles linked to traditions and good habits; broaden the horizons of educators, teachers and social workers in the field of education; provide educational opportunities for young and disadvantaged people. The association, in order to achieve its objectives, carries out numerous activities. At local level: conferences, conferences, debates, seminars, films and documentaries, concerts, conferences, training courses for young people and adults, art therapy sessions, historical research, folklore, ancient crafts related to the territory. In order to guarantee the growth of members, the association "Meshy" carries out activities abroad (campuses, international projects, courses, workshops, exhibitions, screenings and shows), in contexts where participants can promote their culture or acquire knowledge that can not be pursued in habitual contexts.
