description of organisation

* Created in 1977, the Regional Training Center (CFA Régional Campus de Digne les Bains) for apprentices is multi-skilled. It is located in a rural area (Department of the Alpes de Haute Provence in the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region, in the south of France).
The Regional CFA is a part of URMA (Regional University of Trades and Crafts) of CMAR PACA (Chamber of Trades and Crafts of the PACA region).
URMA is made up of 7 Campuses spread over the 6 departments of the PACA region (Alpes de Haute Provence, Hautes Alpes, Vaucluse Var, Alpes Maritimes). These Campuses accommodate around 1000 apprentices in the craft trades.

* Digne les Bains Campus accomodates around 680 apprentices and 75 adults in vocational training in the following levels and training trades :
-Building (masonry, painting, tiling, electricity, plumbing, heating engineer)
-Food trades (restaurant, kitchen, bakery, pastry, butcher)
-Automobile (mechanics, bodywork, automotive painting)
-Personal care (hairdressing, aesthetics, early childhood)
-Tertiary (trade, sales, management assistant, accounting).

* The training of apprentices is done on a work-study basis, that is to say that part of the training is done in a training center and part in a company.
The apprentice signs an employment contract with the company and receives a monthly apprentice salary.

* Training at the Campus is based on general education (general culture, history, geography, languages, mathematics, law, etc...) and professional education (technology, professional practice workshops, etc...)

* The Campus organizes professional internships abroad. Mobility is towards:
-Germany via PROTADEM and OFAJ
-Italy via INTERREG or ERASMUS +
-Slovenia via ERASMUS +
Some apprentices can therefore benefit from these mobility experiences.

* The Campus also organizes educational and cultural outings such as, for example, a visit to ocher quarries, a visit to a paper factory, a visit to a museum linked to the trades of apprentices ...

* Type of audience : apprentices, adults in training, FLE (migrants) audience

* Level / Diploma :
