VISIONEERS is a non-profit association and recognized carrier of the free youth welfare service in Berlin. Based on Christian values, such as mercy and social responsibility, we are committed to socially disadvantaged young people, and national and international development policy issues.

Since 2016, VISIONEERS gGmbH has been running an open youth club in Berlin-Schöneberg. This is a safe retreat, where a permanent contact person is available for the concerns of the young people and where alternative leisure activities are offered. By promoting their individual skills and talents, as well as strengthening their competencies through our diverse offerings, young people are not only offered meaningful recreational activities, but also increase their self-esteem and confidence in their own potential. In addition, the young people not only experience that they can get help themselves, but can also pass on their own skills and knowledge to other participants in various youth workshops. In this way, they slip into the role of the helpers and contribute to the enrichment of the project. By targeting young people with and without flight backgrounds, we create a platform for exchange and contact.
Since 2018, we have been supporting the Berlin Vacation School and run it during the Easter, summer and autumn school holidays in Berlin-Schöneberg. In our Berlin Vacation School, we focus on language support, goal-oriented exchange and exploring different opportunities for leisure activities in Berlin.

We are committed to a world in which individuals use their skills and talents effectively to make a lasting difference in the lives of others and help shape social change. VISIONEERS wants to overcome barriers by connecting the business world with the charitable world.
So how will VISIONEERS help me personally? VISIONEERS offers you a wide range of opportunities to use your specific talents and experience to support charitable organizations in their challenges. Our various volunteer programs allow you to apply your skills in a new environment, develop new skills in practice, achieve your personal and professional goals, build an international network and effectively support some of the most disadvantaged communities.
We promote education, training and vocational training in the Global South. International perspective and tolerance in all areas of cultural and population exchange are important to us. For example, since 2017 VISIONEERS has been sending motivated young people to Costa Rica, Peru and South Africa with the BMZ (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development) sponsored volunteer service "weltwärts". By this, federal volunteers from the Global South are enabled to work with us in our association. Through targeted cooperation we support development projects in their countries of origin.

VISIONEERS ist eine gGmbH und anerkannter Träger der freien Jugendhilfe in Berlin. Auf der Grundlage christlicher Werte wie Barmherzigkeit und soziale Verantwortung engagieren wir uns für sozial benachteiligte Jugendliche sowie für nationale und internationale entwicklungspolitische Themen.
Seit 2016 betreibt VISIONEERS einen offenen Jugendtreff in Berlin-Schöneberg. Dies ist ein sicherer Rückzugsort, in dem ein fester Ansprechpartner für die Belange der Jugendlichen zur Verfügung steht und alternative Freizeitmöglichkeiten angeboten werden. Durch die Förderung der individuellen Fähigkeiten und Begabungen sowie die Stärkung ihrer Kompetenzen durch unsere vielfältigen Angebote wird den Jugendlichen nicht nur eine sinnvolle Freizeitgestaltung geboten, sondern auch ihr Selbstwertgefühl und das Vertrauen in die eigenen Potenziale gestärkt. Darüber hinaus erfahren die Jugendlichen nicht nur, dass sie sich selbst Hilfe holen können, sondern können in verschiedenen Jugendworkshops ihre eigenen Fähigkeiten und Kenntnisse auch an andere Teilnehmer weitergeben. Auf diese Weise schlüpfen sie in die Rolle der Helfer und tragen zur Bereicherung des Projekts bei. Da unsere Zielgruppe Jugendliche mit und ohne Migrationshintergrund sind, schaffen wir eine Plattform für Austausch und Kontakt.
Seit 2018 unterstützen wir die Berliner Ferienschule und führen sie in den Oster-, Sommer- und Herbstferien in Berlin-Schöneberg durch. In unserer Berliner Ferienschule setzen wir auf Sprachförderung, zielgerichteten Austausch und die Erkundung verschiedener Freizeitmöglichkeiten in Berlin.
Wir setzen uns für eine Welt ein, in welcher jeder seine Fähigkeiten und Talente wirksam einsetzt, um das Leben anderer nachhaltig zu verändern und den gesellschaftlichen Wandel mitzugestalten. VISIONEERS will Barrieren überwinden, indem wir die Geschäftswelt mit der karitativen Welt verbinden. Dazu organisieren wir Corporate Volunteering Events.
