Description of organisation

Semper Avanti Opole Foundation was established in 2016, but basing on the experiences of Semper Avanti Association from Wrocław, which is our foundator. The foundation was created to support the youth work in Opolskie Region and develop various projects connected to human rights, promotion of tolerance, voluntary service, support of local democracy, spreading information about programmes and possibilities for the development of youth and adults. One of the main aims is working on the civic attitudes of young people.We are a regional organization that focuses on international work with young people, including youth exchanges, voluntary service and youth initiatives. We also cooperate with South Eastern Europe and EECA countries.
The main aims of the Foundation are:
- to promote international co-operation and understanding between young people from different countries and different cultures,
- to provide young people with the opportunity to gain international experience for their personal and professional development,
- making young people aware of their cultural heritage,
- to develop regional, national and European consciousness of young people
- to promote Poland and the Opole region in Europe.

Target groups – mainly youth, but also children, seniors, support workers (teachers, youth workers, etc)

The main profiles of our Association are:
- international youth exchanges,
- voluntary service - national and international,
- cultural events,
- civil and democracy education

  • This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
