The Youth Human Impact Association is an organization whose aim is to help in the self-education and personal development of young people. During our projects, participants find in themselves a passion for action, arousing entrepreneurial attitudes and a sense of initiative. We integrate young people from all over the world, giving them the opportunity to learn about other cultures and new places. We organize educational projects, youth exchanges and trainings both in Poland and abroad. We act in an unconventional way and focus on non-formal education. The Youth Human Impact Association based in Lomza (Poland) is a voluntary, self-governing association whose aim is to develop and promote initiatives, attitudes and activities that promote the improvement of educational conditions and levels. YHI promotes entrepreneurial attitudes among members and the local community.
We pursue our objectives by:
- Supporting business
- Working with individuals and institutions to collect information and exchange experiences in the field of economics and business
- Training for the development of entrepreneurship and self-employment
- Promoting the development of civic participation at local, national and European level
- Organising local, national and international events
- Promoting cultural diversity
- Education in the field of history culture
We have been existing since 2015 and more than 200 young people have already participated in our projects. For one of them we received the renowned EDUinspirations education award. We are committed to human rights and gender equality. We have conducted three projects on this subject - two international and one local. In our projects we pay special attention to gender equality. Among the participants, we always follow the principle of selection of 50% to 50% - women and men. Our projects emphasize cultural diversity and tolerance in its broadest sense. In our projects we take action to combat social exclusion - for economic, geographical, social and health reasons.
