Description of organisation

The Esycu Foundation was born in 1999 as a initiative of a group of professionals from the Educational environment. Currently, it develops programs that support a fairer and inclusive world, through training actions, international cooperation, healthy leisure and social action at the same time we promote equal opportunities and volunteering, as a channel of social commitment so that each person be the protagonist of its own development.

The main programs and groups of interest are:
- CHILDHOOD AND YOUTH: The Foundation offers a platform of services, resources, activities and training programs for Associations, Educational Centers and youth groups with the common objective of promoting human development, talent and youth employability, promoting the acquisition of skills and abilities that allow them to be the agents of social transformation. Among the commitments of the 2021-2024 Strategic Plan with the global and local environment, ESYCU maintains its challenges in non-formal education that responds to the needs of the new generations: such as soft skills, training in values and awareness and promotion of social participation through the volunteer (SDG4).
- ADVICE AND TRAINING TO ASSOCIATIONS: The Esycu Foundation maintains a collaboration agreement with different Youth or Cultural Associations of the Valencian Community, Murcia, Albacete and Palma de Mallorca, under which the Foundation advises and trains to the heads of these Associations in management, organization, economic and legal issues, among others, as well as those who are responsible for the training and study projects of these entities. Meanwhile, it stablish a network for the exchange of knowledge and experiences that is very enriching for all parties.
- SOCIAL ACTION: The Foundation develops strengthening skills actions to improve the employability of disadvantaged groups, with a greater impact on women.
- VOLUNTEERING: program for training, welcoming and accompanying people interested in being part of the change, supporting local, European or international actions of school support for children and teenagers at risk of social exclusion, literacy for people in the third grade in prison, accompaniment to elderly and/or dependent people, accompaniment in the cyber classroom during their hospital stay, organization of leisure and free time activities for children and youth, international cooperation in Peru or Congo, social integration of women, among others.

Our interest in applying for the Quality Seal is to continue strengthening the volunteering axis, as it has been done in recent years with previous ERASMUS + programs and to enrich the solidarity experience of young people from Spain and other countries, both in groups and individually, supporting actions aimed at the fields of education, international cooperation, healthy leisure and social action.
