The El Torcal neighborhood association was founded in 1987, it is located in the 7th district of Malaga, one of the areas with the highest population density, and with great unemployment problems, with low educational levels, immigrants and in risk of social exclusion.
From the association we are committed to participatory models as elements of prevention of risk of social exclusion, carrying out activities that allow young and old to express themselves, and where their commitment is essential for the benefit of our community as a whole.
We work with families with fewer possibilities, we will do our best to help everyone overcome the crisis by joining the job market.
Our objective is to create a model that favors participation as an element of prevention of situations of social risk, we carry out alternative and innovative activities for the development of sport, culture, youth, ecology, social activities and education and social exclusion , equality of sex, healthy life and active aging.
Our main groups are young and old, we organize artistic workshops, music concerts, film screenings, art exhibitions, dance performances, conferences and presentations, theater and social media workshops, photography, soccer training and futsal. , basketball, youth information on everything related to emancipation and job search, study support, camps, etc.
We propose the development of social life and educational activity, taking into account the needs and expectations of young and old.

This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
