Description of organisation

Community Center "Oswobojdenie-1884" is a sustainable cultural institution with a specific mission for the preservation and development of the traditional values of the Bulgarian nation. The deep connection with the past, with traditions, with the educational process, culture and charity is at the heart of the authority of the community center. Throughout its 137-year history, our community centre has gained a position to work to support the community and has gained the trust of the local community over the years. Our community center relies on its roots as a social, national, cultural, educational and information organization that meets modern challenges.
Community Center "Oswobojdenie-1884" aims to meet the needs of citizens related to:
1. Development and enrichment of cultural life, social and educational activity in kazanlak municipality;
2. Preservation of the customs and traditions of the Bulgarian people;
3. Expanding citizens' knowledge and inclusion in the values and achievements of science, art and culture;
4. Nurturing and promoting national self-consciousness;
5. Ensuring access to information.
Community Center „Oswobojdenie-1884“ carries out some basic activities: arranging and maintaining a library, developing and supporting creativity, organizing circles, clubs, celebrations, concerts and celebrations, collecting and disseminating knowledge, creating and storing a museum collection, implementing projects to national and European programs.
