Description of organisation

CREATE Foundation is a non-profit, non political organization which was established in Kosovo in June 2015 and it is a legacy organization of Mercy Corps. Our main focus is to work with the marginalized groups (women, youth and minorities) in Kosovo and the region of Western Balkans. Our Mission is to foster a thriving market system that values innovation and market-based approaches to social and economic development, particularly with regards to individuals who are at-risk or disadvantaged. Advocating on influencing governments, multi-lateral institutions as well as foundations and the private sector to improve relevant policies, practices and decisions in order to better help vulnerable communities. Serves marginalized communities (youth and women) in Kosovo, where our work focuses in identifying socio-economic needs of non-majority communities and implement projects that assist these communities to participate in the socio-economic and governance processes in Kosovo. Support the development of the Eco system and enhance the social entrepreneurship opportunities in Kosovo and in the region.
