The Ataretaco Foundation maintains, from its origins, an ethical commitment based on the inalienable principle of respect for the equal dignity of all people, in a socioeconomic system that generates inequality and social exclusion and the progressive deterioration of the environment, a system, for Therefore, unsustainable from the ecological point of view and unbearable from the point of view of justice. At the service of inclusion and care, Ataretaco's contribution to social construction is located on the alternative path of the social and solidarity economy, a path that has to contribute to the transition from the current state of affairs, towards an economic system that be at the service of people and protect the environment. This means advancing in the necessary change from the ethical paradigm of domination that is sustaining the system, towards the ethical paradigm of care, which privileges the centrality of the equal dignity of all people and the dignity of the earth. That is why Ataretaco, among other social intangibles, tries to take care of its ethical assets, expressed in the mission, vision and values, which permeate the culture of the Organization.
MISSION: Work to reduce the conditions that produce social exclusion and disadvantage, with actions aimed at comprehensive training and full socio-labor integration of disadvantaged groups, promoting equal opportunities between women and men, an alternative and solidarity economy, the community involvement, waste recovery and recycling activities and related to environmental protection.
VISION: To achieve a more just, caring and co-responsible society in which social, economic, political and cultural actions are at the service of people and communities and in harmony with the environment, based on a job well done, with transparency, efficiency and sustainability.

ATARETACO has maintained and implemented, since its inception in 1985, its double line of intervention, social and environmental, fostering synergy between the two.
Comprehensive Training, Socio-Labor Insertion of disadvantaged groups and Environmental Protection are the pillars on which Ataretaco's social intervention is based and the way to improve the quality of life of the population with whom it works.
In the Initial Reception of the social intervention, it is intended to achieve a growth of the human aspect of the person with whom we work through the different actions aimed at obtaining a social well-being that, although it goes through training and subsequent labor insertion, does not it is completed if it has not corresponded in parallel with a basic work that proposes integral actions and that works from the integrality of the individual taking into account the work with the coexistence units in which the person develops. We speak of a Basic Social Action to refer to the social action that is exercised through a set of services and benefits intended for individuals - groups and families to solve their problems by feeling themselves protagonists of their own change. It is the base, in the closest territory, from where it is proposed to address the situations-problems of a more immediate and close nature, without losing sight of the needs to face the most complex and profound generating causes of such situations.
OBJECTIVES: The incorporation into the labor world of the underprivileged group that is the object of the intervention, presents a series of disadvantages and differences. Therefore, it will be necessary to reinforce learning at all levels: training and social resources, information and orientation and occupational reorientation, which facilitate equal results in the labor insertion process. The Ataretaco Foundation has had throughout its history a multidisciplinary team made up of professionals from education, psychology, social work, career guidance, the economy, volunteers and the environment, as well as the various subjects that are taught in occupational training courses. Faced with the need to promote new and adequate instruments for the socio-labor intervention scenario, Ataretaco has launched its group of companies, which is also the most stable financing instrument available to give continuity to the insertion itineraries .



La Fundación Ataretaco mantiene, desde sus orígenes, un compromiso ético basado en el principio irrenunciable del respeto a la dignidad igual de todas las personas, en un sistema socioeconómico que genera desigualdad y exclusión social y el deterioro progresivo del medio ambiente, un sistema, por tanto, insostenible desde el punto de vista ecológico e insoportable desde el punto de vista de la justicia. Al servicio de la inclusión y el cuidado, la aportación de Ataretaco a la construcción social se sitúa en la vía alternativa de la economía social y solidaria, una vía que ha de contribuir al tránsito desde el estado de cosas actual, hacia un sistema económico que esté al servicio de las personas y que proteja el medio ambiente. Ello supone avanzar en el necesario cambio desde el paradigma ético de la dominación que está sustentando el sistema, hacia el paradigma ético del cuidado, que privilegie la centralidad de la dignidad igual de todas las personas y la dignidad de la tierra. Por eso Ataretaco, entre otros intangibles sociales, trata de cuidar sus bienes éticos, expresados en la misión, visión y valores, que impregnan la cultura de la Organización.
MISIÓN: Trabajar en la disminución de las condiciones que producen exclusión y desventaja social, con actuaciones encaminadas a la formación integral y la plena integración sociolaboral de los colectivos desfavorecidos, promoviendo la igualdad de oportunidades entre mujeres y hombres, una economía alternativa y solidaria, la implicación de la comunidad, actividades de recuperación y reciclaje de residuos y vinculadas a la protección ambiental.
VISIÓN: Lograr una sociedad más justa, solidaria y corresponsable en la que las acciones sociales, económicas, políticas y culturales estén al servicio de las personas y de las comunidades y en armonía con el medio ambiente, a partir de un trabajo bien hecho, con transparencia, eficiencia y sostenibilidad.
VALORES: Nos mueve el compromiso con la dignidad de la persona y la sostenibilidad del medio ambiente y con los valores y principios de: Justicia; Solidaridad; Corresponsabilidad; Participación; Coherencia; Calidez humana; Acogimiento; Transparencia y Rigurosidad; Austeridad en el uso de los recursos.
ATARETACO ha mantenido e implementado, desde sus inicios en 1985, su doble línea de intervención, la social y la medioambiental, propiciando la sinergia entre ambas.
La Formación Integral, la Inserción Sociolaboral de colectivos en desventaja y la Protección Del Medio Ambiente son los pilares sobre los que se asienta la intervención social de Ataretaco y la vía para mejorar la calidad de vida de la población con la que se trabaja.
En la Acogida Inicial de la intervención social se pretende conseguir un crecimiento del aspecto humano de la persona con la que trabajamos a través de las distintas acciones encaminadas a obtener un bienestar social que, si bien pasa por la formación y la posterior inserción laboral, no se completa si no se ha correspondido paralelamente con un trabajo de base que plantee actuaciones integrales y que trabaje desde la integralidad del individuo teniendo en cuenta el trabajo con las unidades convivenciales en las que se desenvuelve la persona. Hablamos de una Acción Social de Base para referirnos a la acción social que se ejerce a través de un conjunto de servicios y prestaciones destinadas a que los individuos – grupos y familias resuelvan sus problemas sintiéndose protagonistas de su propio cambio. Es la base, en el territorio más cercano, desde donde se plantea abordar las situaciones- problemas de carácter más inmediato y próximo, sin perder de vista las necesidades de afrontar las causas generadoras más complejas y profundas de tales situaciones.
OBJETIVOS: La incorporación al mundo laboral del colectivo desfavorecido objeto de la intervención, presenta una serie de desventajas y diferencias. Por tanto, habrá que reforzar los aprendizajes a todos los niveles: recursos formativos y sociales, de información y orientación y reorientación ocupacional, que faciliten una igualdad de resultados en el proceso de inserción laboral. La Fundación Ataretaco ha contado a lo largo de su trayectoria con un equipo multidisciplinar integrado por profesionales de la educación, la psicología, el trabajo social, la orientación laboral, la economía, personas voluntarias y el medio ambiente, así como de las diversas materias que se imparten en los cursos de formación ocupacional. Ante la necesidad de impulsar nuevos y adecuados instrumentos para el escenario de la intervención socio– laboral, Ataretaco ha puesto en marcha su grupo de empresas que es, además, el instrumentos de financiación más estable con que cuenta para dar continuidad a los itinerarios de inserción.
