Description of organisation

We are an organization that bases its work on social education, our actions are mostly determined in the approach of educational intervention, we work for a comprehensive education. We work based on our positioning as a Third Sector organization. We are a private foundation, formally organized, non-profit and with the capacity for institutional self-control. Based on the principles of commitment, solidarity, inclusion, equality, social justice and sustainability. An ethical ideology based on Human Rights, involved and committed to social change from a non-partisan perspective. We achieve this by setting clear objectives that we use as a goal and as a guide that marks the way of the foundation's work. - Develop a transformative participation. - Investigate, intervene, and promote educational level in an integral way, as a tool for change. - Empower the community, promote a quality democracy, and generate critical people. We work with a methodology based on participation and the protagonism of the target people. Mostly our target group is youth, more concrete rural youth with fewer opportunities, so we offer for them activities for leisure time, and projects about employability insertion, democratic dialogue with the policy responsables, or support in multidimensional educational field; always with the idea of improving their lifes and to be a guide for their succesful adult style of life. We also work with children in the same field and in the same idea as the youth field to start with their participation as soon as possible in order to educate in the values of participation and personal development for the construction of their personalities. Finally we also work with adulthood mostly in order to be a platform to accompy their life project and their permanent learning process. We are -and we want to be- a reference organization of Social Education at a professional level, an organization that works for the people to achieve a personal and collective development and their own empowerment. We work in the local level with the idea that it flows into global contexts with the main objetive of tranforming the world through our socio-educational actions. Our mission is to fight for Social Education as a right of citizenship to promote educational, training and social intervention actions through our professional work.
