D'Avent is a Romanian Non-Profit Organization working internationally on promoting sustainable living in urban areas by growing and supporting successful active communities. We act towards promoting a circular economy in a sustainable society, we believe in cross-sector partnerships and complementary approaches, we increase awareness about sustainable solutions and empower communities.
Our projects include regular activities regarding: green entrepreneurship and eco design, green building and eco innovation, urban gardening, eco education. The main beneficiaries of our projects are youth, makers and designers, schools.
Our portfolio of projects includes: ReciclareCreativa.RO - the upcycling community in Bucharest that was presented as a good practice example at the UN Youth Assembly 2013 in New York, ViolonceluluiHub.RO - a space in Bucharest where we developed a green building and an urban garden for eco-innnovation activities, GradinarulDeBalcon.RO - the balcony gardening community in Bucharest, several Erasmus+ projects where we worked with NGOs from multiple international organizations, Wunderkraft - social business on upcycling.
