"INTEGRA Associazione per l'integrazione e la condivisione degli Immigrati - ONLUS" is a non-profit organization that operates in the field of migration policies, hospitality of migrants, international solidarity and intercultural integration. The organization, making use of highly qualified and multidisciplinary Italian and migrant professionals, is able to give significant and specific responses to the socio-cultural problems of Italy.

INTEGRA was founded in Lecce in 2003 by Miss Klodiana Çuka, current President, and a group of people of different nationalities, united by the sensibility towards the field of migration and the desire to promove a multicultural society that guarantees an effective integration between peoples. Integra Onlus believes that it's very important "to unite without merging, to distinguish without dividing, remaining united in diversity".

Fundamental objectives of INTEGRA:
- coexistence between the migrant and the indigenous population in order to prevent ghettoization;
- the affirmation of the migrant as an added value and an important development agent for the host territory.

Through a fruitful collaboration with the different local Institutions and professionist, Integra Onlus pursues objectives and aims of social solidarity that aim at the protection of civil rights, as well as the realization of educational activities and assistance aimed at migrants and the weakest sections of the Italian population. "Integra Onlus" promotes the full realization of fundamental human rights, inspired by the principles established by the United Nations and by the European Union Conventions and the Italian Constitution because the human being as such at the center of the universe, without distinction of sex, race, language, religion, political opinions, personal and social conditions.

MISSION AND VISION

The aims of the Organization are:

- to promote the integration of all migrants, trying to eliminate those latent manifestations of resistance to the change of those who apparently accept the other and then disinterested;
- to organize a lot of initiatives, working with multicultural methods, to increase exchanges, solidarity and integration;
- to spread the knowledge of the culture of migrants in the perspective of dialogic reciprocity with the cultures of the territory, increasing the socio-cultural and economic cooperation between Italy and the respective countries of belonging;
- to defend, promote, preserve and develop by every means and method the protection and enhancement of culture, art, music, entertainment and sport in all its forms and expressions, also in productive, social and economic reflections, for integration of all the cultures present on the territory;
to act as a center of meeting and aggregation in the name of civil and cultural interests, fulfilling the social function of maturation and human and civil growth.
