Description of organisation

National Youth Forum is the largest youth platform in Bulgaria, which brings together 50 youth organizations from across the country. We are a full member of the European Youth Forum and an active partner of national and European institutions in building and advocating for youth policies. We are the national youth council of Bulgaria. Our mission is to represent the interests of young people in Bulgaria and their needs, highlighting the importance and importance of youth organizations, their development and participation in social and socio-political processes, and to provide effective structured dialogue through cooperation with relevant stakeholders and decision makers in youth policy. The activities, organised by the NYF are mainly focused on active citizenship. Every year, the National Youth Forum organizes a National Youth Academy, which gathers more than 50 young people from all over the country and has the opportunity to work together, develop their skills and competences, and learn new things within a few days in each of the three stages. National Youth Forum is the chair of the National Working Group on Structured Dialogue (EU Dialogue on Youth) and as such coordinates the implementation of activities at national level since 2014. since then. The main activities of the projects are related to informing young people, training aimed at creating key competences for participation in civic life as well as events providing space for dialogue between young people and different stakeholders.
