Description of organisation

Der Träger EUCON e.V. besteht seit Mitte des Jahres 2016. Er wurde von Projektmanager/-innen von ESF-Projekten und internationalen Mobilitäts-Projekten in München gegründet, um Innovationen im Feld der Bildung umsetzen zu können.
Als europaorientierte NGO hat EUCON als Ziel die Entwicklung und Durchführung von Projekten. Das sind Projekte
• für internationale Mobilität von Jugendlichen
• für nonformales Lernen – außerhalb der Schule,
• für Migrant*innen und Geflüchtete und
• für Elearning und andere Innovationen bei Bildung und Lernen.
Um das zu tun initiiert EUCON auch Kooperationen auf europäischer Ebene und entwickelt damit transnationale Projekte für Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene, Austausche, Bildungsangebote, Curricula und anderes mehr.
Außerdem arbeiten wir daran, europäische Arbeitsansätze in der sozialen Arbeit und bei Bildungsangeboten in unserem Umfeld, in München und mit europäischen Partnern zu etablieren.
EUCON selbst ist als NGO noch relativ jung. Die Gründer*innen des Vereins, Mitarbeiter*innen und Expert*innen, die uns bei unseren Projekten unterstützen kommen aus europäischen Förderprojekten. Sie haben große Erfahrung, die oft aus einer langjährigen Praxis stammt.
Unsere Partner und wir kommen aus der Jugendarbeit, der beruflichen Bildung, haben als Wissenschaftler*innen gearbeitet oder eigene Projekte für benachteiligte Jugendliche oder in der Arbeitsmarktpolitik gemacht, auf lokaler, Landes und Bundesebene. Dazu gehören auch Erfahrungen in einer Reihe von Programmen: ESF (regional und international), EU-Programme (s.u.) und nationalen Arbeitsmarktprogrammen.
EUCON ist in München und im Bundesland Bayern sehr gut vernetzt, sowohl auf politischer Ebene wie auch innerhalb der Sozialpartner, der Träger der Wohlfahrtspflege und der Bildungsarbeit.
Hierzu gehört auch die Jugendarbeit in Bayern und ein guter Arbeitskontakt zum Bayerischen Jugendring.EUCON hat durch die beschriebenen Erfahrungen und Ressourcen einen größeren Pool von externen Experten und ein breites Netzwerk mit Akteuren der beruflichen Bildung und Jugendarbeit in München, im Bundesland Bayern und auf Bundesebene.
Überdies hat der Verein durch diese Tätigkeiten und Vorerfahrungen auch über ein breites Netzwerk von internationalen Partnern in und außerhalb von Europa. Diese sind in den Programmen von Erasmus+, im Programm Integration durch Austausch (IdA) des deutschen BMAS und analogen internationalen ESF-Programmen anderer Nationalstaaten, aber auch in anderen Feldern aktiv.

EUCON e.V. was founded in mid-2016 in Munich by project managers of ESF projects and international mobility projects in order to implement innovations in the field of education.
As a Europe-oriented NGO, EUCON aims to develop and implement projects. These are projects
• -for international mobility of young people
• -for non-formal learning - outside school,
• -for migrants* inside and fledglings and
• -for e-learning and other innovations in education and learning.
To do this, EUCON also initiates cooperation at European level and develops transnational projects for young people and young adults, exchanges, educational opportunities, curricula and more.
We are also working on establishing European approaches to social work and educational opportunities in our environment, in Munich and with European partners.
EUCON itself is still relatively young as an NGO. The founders of the association, employees and experts who support us in our projects come from European funded projects. They have a great deal of experience, often from many years of practice.
Our partners and we ourselves come from youth work, vocational training, have worked as scientists or have done our own projects for disadvantaged young people or in labour market policy, at local, regional and national level. This also includes experience in a number of programmes: ESF (regional and international), EU programmes (see below) and national labour market programmes.
EUCON has a strong and extensive network in Munich and in the federal state of Bavaria, both at the political level and within the social construct (muss darüber nachdenken), welfare organisations and in the educational sector.
EUCON has a larg pool of external experts and a broad network with stakeholders in vocational training and youth work in Munich, in the federal state of Bavaria and at the federal level.
Moreover, these activities and previous experience have also given the association a broad network of international partners in and outside Europe. These are active in the Erasmus+ programmes, the Integration through Exchange Programme (IdA) of the German BMAS and similar international ESF programmes of other national states, but also in other fields.
