description of organisation

bilding – Kunst- und Architektur Werkstatt is a non-prosit Organisation dedicated to offering young people easy access to various forms of art and architecture. The main objective of the organization is to create an environment where young people aged 4 to 19 years are encouraged and assisted in discovering and developing their creative interests, skills and talents. Accompanied by artists and architects young people can gather hands-on experience in the fields of the fine arts, sculpting, architecture, graphic design, film and new media. bilding offers a continuous educational program, which reaches from aesthetic early learning for kindergartner's to free and experimental creative learning for children and adolescents to the continuative artistic support of young adults striving for a creative higher-education. In order to assure that all young people, no matter their social or cultural background, are able to participate, all continuous workshop programs are free of charge.

In addition to the regular workshop programs which take place weekly over the course of an entire school year, bilding offers a number of additional workshops as well as cooperations with universities, schools, kindergarten and social and cultural institutions.
