Description of organisation

Today, Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University provides higher education service with its eight faculties, three institutes, two colleges and five vocational schools. These faculties include the Faculty of Letters, The Faculty of Education, The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, The Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Kamil Ozdag Faculty of Science, The Faculty of Engineering Faculty, The Faculty of Health Sciences, The Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture and also the institutes include Institute of Science, Institute of Social Sciences and Institute of Health Sciences. The colleges at the university are the Applied Sciences College and the School of Physical Education and Sports and vocational schools are Ermenek, Kazım Karabekir, Health Services, Social Sciences and Technical Sciences Vocational Schools.

Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University takes its place as an important institution with its nearly 1000 staff, about 17 thousand students, 47 undergraduate degree, 51 associate degree and 30 graduate degree programs. It aims to contribute especially to the field of Turkish language, food and energy significantly with its large campus, laboratories and conference halls at international standards, social and sportive facilities. Moreover, it aims to be a favourite higher education institution of people in its region by developing a brotherhood relationship with Balkan and Middle East countries.
