description of organisation

NGO Vivere School was founded in December 2018. The initiative came from the members of another non-profit organization - NGO Special World. As a result of the 2-year work of activists of the Special World NGO, members of the board of the Vivere School NGO and the team of experts, the Vivere School opened its doors to the first students in September 2019.
The idea of the school is that children with special needs and without them would study in a safe environment together. However, we understand that such inclusive education requires more responsibility, more training and more work within the school team and with students. And we consciously made this choice.
Why is Vivere neede?
Children with special educational needs don`t have enough opportunities to study in the educational environment that suits their needs in Estonia .
At the moment, there are no private schools in the country that offer sufficient support for Russian speaking children with special needs. Our school is the first private school of its kind in the country. Our benefits include: individual study program, the latest methodology, including informal teaching methods.
As soon as each child is ready, we`ll try to include them in the regular class for effective inclusion.
Our main goal is to give any child, regardless of his or her special needs, an opportunity to receive an education in suitable conditions with the help of qualified support specialists.
Since the school is still very young, we have from traditional events so far only annual Championships for reading aloud among bouth adults and gymnasium students.
However, we are constantly in search of new solutions for teaching methods in our school. We conducted a project on the development of emotional intelligence on the basis of the school. In February, projects on teaching mental mathematics, sports games, learning to play the guitar.

This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
