We are working in different fields to engage local young people to join in our activities and to be active member of the association. Until now we are working in the following areas:
Education, Human Right, Youth Working, Cultures, Volunteering and European Citizenship.
Counting that we start to work in the field from the 2019 as association we were working from the 2016 as Informal group and, we have already developed different projects.
In fact we were already partner in a youth exchange that took place in Romania, the main topic it was the volunteering in rural areas and active participation in the little community/town and, we are developing a ESC – Solidarity between Pignola and Tito in collaboration with different schools in the area of the two municipalities in province of Potenza.
The young people that until now we involved in our activities are youngsters from the 14 till the 26 years old. We are making activities with them because we know that in the next few years they will be the change maker of our community and the once in charge to develop our communities. We are developing different events of social inclusion made by non formal methods to increase the interest and the participation of those youngsters.
Recently the youth centre in Sasso di Castalda has been added to the portfolio of activities carried from I Go association in order to implement and extend the area of influence and the number of participants of the previously mentioned activity in order to achieve the target of the association that are focused on improving social inclusion, extend knowledge about human rights and develop more the sense of to be European Citizen.
At the moment the center is open only once a week and the activities are managed by Michele Corsini, the target is to involve more participants
offering more sessions during the week, in order to do so the assistance of volunteers would be that extra value that can help to achieve this goal.
So far the sessions are including also:
- Non-formal English language courses for adults and young people
- Activities and artistic initiatives in the specific drawing and painting
- Creative recycling, with the aim of sensitizing users to avoid waste, reducing waste and making people aware of the idea of being able to reuse products and materials that could still be useful but instead are thrown away as waste.

Our activities are plan and lead from our young president Michele that is in charge of the workshops, all of them are based on non formal and informal activities and some of them are taken from books of education like Compass and Compasito. He can develop and lead the activities thanks to his experience as EVS don in Romania. He is in charge also of the preparation of the young people that are going to be the next volunteers at local and international level.
In the group there is also Maria Luigia that is in charge of the social media of the group to share our ideas, events, activities and achievement.
All the members association want to develop activities based on solidarity actions that can help other youngster to build new opportunities and to be more curious about them European environment.
