The main goal of the Wild Foundation is to promote educational movements which in their assumptions have democratic and libertarian ideas, as well as broadly understood activities for the family. The foundation's activities also include educational activities, scientific activities, cultural activities, environmental protection activities, building an open civil society and promoting democratic ideas. Equalizing educational opportunities and access to culture, charity, activities in the field of physical culture and sport. The main project of the Wild Foundation is the Wild School - Democratic School in Tychy. Wild School - Democratic school in Tychy is a place for children fulfilling their school duty outside the school, i.e. remaining in the so-called home education. The Democratic School in Tychy is a community of children and adults. Our goal is to create a safe environment for all of us and create situations conducive to the development of a child around the idea of ​​democratic education, i.e. education based on responsibility and conscious learning of their own free will, in a community of equal rights and mutual respect.
What is important for us is the child's right to express himself, to have fun and to decide about himself: what he does at school, what he learns, how he learns and who he learns with. We do not exert pressure, we do not use manipulations in the form of penalties and rewards, we do not do tests, we do not give homework. In an atmosphere of mutual respect and awareness of the other, we set our own rules of functioning in the community.
At Dzika School, we create a space based on respect and acceptance of the uniqueness of each person, a place of people learning from each other, in which everyone is both a teacher and a student. It is a space to share what is important and fascinating to us, what gives us joy, amazes. A place free of expectations, constraint and judgment. A space of free and unfettered search, in which every member of the school community can feel safe and support us in our development.
We are a young organization - we received an entry in the National Court Register in April 2019. Despite such a short period of activity, we supported nationwide events, such as:
• Tent of Rights and Freedom ”at PolandRock Festival 2019 in Kostrzyn
Activities at the local level are an important part of our activity. Our headquarters is in Tychy and this is the region we are most interested in. It is here that we try to organize workshops, development and educational meetings. In November 2019, we co-organized the 'Learning by doing' conference in Tychy, the first conference in Tychy devoted to neurodidactics and making the teaching process more attractive based on relationships, emotions and action.
