Description of organisation

ADRA Ukraine has been operating since 1993 and to date, we managed to help more than a million people who were in difficult living conditions or were forced to leave their homes. There are currently 3 sub-offices, serving 12 regions. Over the first years, ADRA Ukraine targeted orphans, families in crisis and elderly people and run a family support center in Kyiv, orphanages and the yearly Christmas parcel project. Since the civil unrest in the country (2014), ADRA Ukraine got involved to support the victims in the region with Shelter, WASH, Winterization, Psychosocial Support, Food Security activities and carried out NFI projects, trainings, and medical assistance. Up to now, with the support of multiple donors including UNHCR, WFP, OFDA, IHA (Canada) and GFO, ADRA Ukraine implemented over 150 projects with a total volume of 7 Million USD, incl more than 30 large projects.

ADRA Ukraine is a part of the Humanitarian Country Team (HCT) and board member of the NGO Forum Steering Committee. Furthermore, ADRA UA is an active member of the UN clusters: Shelter and NFI, Food Security, Livelihoods, Logistics, WASH, Protection, cash working group, Technical Working Group for Shelter and the Working Group on Mental Health.
