description of organisation

In the care of pre-school children we work on the basis of Rudolf Steiner's understanding of man. He always perceived humans as physical, mental and spiritual beings.
We give the children in our organisation space and time for a healthy physical and mental development. We have made it our task to give the children a sense of security and to create strengthening structures for them which support this development.
The dignity of the child and the protection of childhood oblige us to stand up for the same and to offer good quality developmental support appropriate to the pace of each individual child.
"The grass doesn't grow faster when you pull it" African proverb
We see it as our task to accompany the individual development of each child and to recognize and promote talents and interests. In doing so, it is important to promote the cognitive abilities of the children and to create a framework in which they can acquire the basic skills required for today's world. These are social, physical, movement, sensory, perception, language, fantasy, creativity, motivation and concentration skills as well as ethical and moral value competence.
We orientate ourselves on medical development sheets as well as on the individual developmental speed of the child. Our goal is to make the child competent for life and to make him or her a freely acting human being.
The children in the first seven years need first of all the sensory perception in their immediate environment in order to learn to understand the world. The path of childlike perception leads from "grasping" to "understanding". For their healthy development they need a manageable, meaningful and understandable world. A good training of the senses is a prerequisite for the development of the powers of thought and the later ability to perceive oneself and others, to recognise one's own limits and to remain in mental balance. We want to take this as a basis for our work in the kindergarten and the design of the daily routine.
Education develops in a living process of perception, response and accompaniment. It is therefore important to us to form an educational community with the parents that serves the well-being of the child. In this community we want to work together in a trusting, close exchange and create an environment in which the child can develop well.
