Description of organisation
The association CSV San Nicola aims to:
■ Promote initiatives aimed at fostering the growth of a culture of solidarity and subsidiarity, stimulating forms of participation by organisations and individuals, as well as promoting new voluntary initiatives and strengthening existing ones
■ Provide assistance and advice in the design and implementation of specific activities
■ Provide advice and carry out initiatives in accordance with and within the limits of the law in the legal, fiscal, administrative and accounting fields, excluding confidential activities
■ Support and implement initiatives for the training and qualification of voluntary workers in specific fields of intervention
■ To carry out studies and research of interest on volunteer and third sector topics
■ Collect and make available information, news, data and documentation on local, regional, national and international voluntary and Third Sector activities and organisations through all electronic and printed media
■ Provide services to local authorities and public institutions and other public and private entities in matters relating to voluntary and social work: organising seminars, meetings, conferences
■ Participate in calls for tenders issued by public and private entities, also in collaboration with other subjects
■ Carry out any other activities that may be necessary for the achievement of the purposes of these Statutes
To provide itself with any structure or tool useful and suitable for the pursuit of its aims, developing an internet portal and a newspaper at the service of voluntary organizations.
■ Carry out any other activity in the field of the third sector.
In the pursuit of its aims, Centro di volontariato San Nicola constantly seeks collaboration and complementarity with other bodies, local authorities, universities, businesses and private social organizations, whether associations, cooperatives, foundations, federations, voluntary groups, movements. The above services may be provided free of charge or for an appropriate fee, also by agreement. In any case, the services rendered in favour of voluntary organizations, in particular through the possible management of a volunteer service centre and financed by the special fund provided for by Law 266/91, will be provided free of charge or, if this is not possible, at the lowest cost for the volunteer organizations that use them.

■ Legambiente Trani's "Winter Sea" project with other ESC volunteers training courses
■ Coordination of local volunteers.
