description of organisation

The Arteco Pavletić Association was founded in 2017. It operates throughout Croatia with a special focus on the Municipality of Oriovac in Brod-Posavina County, where the association is based. The main goals of association are the promotion and preservation of amateur artistic creativity, encouraging the development of young and talented people and the inclusion of socially disadvantaged and unemployed people, especially youth.

The association specializes in the ecological artistic creation of sculptures from vine and olive trees. Discarded materials are used in the making sculptures, which are created in the process of agricultural production. Special emphasis is therefore placed on environmental responsibility and recycling, and in terms of social action, the association in its artistic activities especially includes creative unemployed youth from rural communities. Through its work, the association promotes ecology and sustainable growth through creative expression in the arts. The association primarily operates in the Brod-Posavina County, where in the village of Malino in the municipality of Oriovac built a permanent theme park "Theme Park Pavletić" as a permanent exhibition in the area conducts art workshops with a special focus on young people.
The association also works intensively in the field of rural development through cooperation with the Local Action Group (LAG) Posavina. Through its activities in rural communities, the association especially works with young people and the unemployed who have the opportunity to acquire and improve their competencies and skills through creative artistic expression in order to strengthen their self-confidence, develop creative creativity, non-acceptance of competencies and gain new opportunities on labor market. Over the next few years, the Association's plan is transforme its work into a social enterprise through the work of the company to train and employ young and generally unemployed people from the Brod-Posavina County in its social enterprise within the theme park.
The association currently has one employed female person from the local community and 8 long-term volunteers who volunteered in the associations for 8205 hours last year which was reported to the Ministry of Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy.
In several places throughout the Republic of Croatia, the association operated sculptural colonies that left local communities in permanent ownership sculptures in the area made of discarded grapevine or olive trees, thematically related to the area where the sculpture was placed.
