description of organisation

Capra e Cavoli 23 is an association that was founded in Pesaro in 2016. It is a Centre for children up to 3 years old and from 6 to 10 years old: in the morning we host children until 3 years old, whereas in the afternoon we host children from 6 to 10 years old. Our Centre is located inside a big house, where 160mq are dedicated to all the necessities of the children: the living room is dedicated to the homework support; the kitchen is where the food workshops happen and where the smaller ones have lunch; the workshop and creativity room; the bathroom; the outside garden for gardening and vegetables picking. The house is located in front of one of the main parks in Pesaro, Parco Miralfiore, which allows us to spend a lot of time in contact with nature. The fact that Capra e Cavoli 23 is located inside a house makes it different from all the other centres for children: it is a cozy environment that reminds them of their own home and where children can live the rhythms of their daily life while doing their homework, preparing healthy snacks and doing creative activities. Capra e Cavoli 23 is a bridge between schools and families, where a great attention is paid to the autonomy and education of the children.
Moreover, we regularly cooperate with local associations and institutions in order to offer a complete and various experience to the children. First of all, we cooperate with the public library of Pesaro, Biblioteca San Giovanni, where we organise reading activities for children: not only they spend valuable time reading, but they also learn how to use the library. The cooperation with the public library and with Parco Miralfiore allows us to organise activities outside our House and so doing we can have more contacts and interaction with families, teachers and all the people involved in the field of education for children. We are also part of the ACLI network, with which we have already planned various projects in the near future.
