The association “Espace Volontariat Oujda”- (EVO), founded in 2003 in Oujda, EVO is a non-political and non-religious organization and does not belong to any ideological movement having its headquarters and office at Ennasr socio-cultural sport center. EVO is a creative and productive space for peace, tolerance, sharing, equality and solidarity, exchange between cultures and coexistence.
- EVO is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to expand the platform of volunteering, and thus contributing to local development.
- EVO works with marginalized urban areas as well as in rural areas, with children, young people and women whose living conditions are particularly difficult.
- EVO sees volunteering as a win-win situation between volunteers and the organisation. On the one hand, volunteers come with their intrinsic motivation, ideas and skills, which is absolutely necessary for our activity, and on the other hand, they get the opportunity to learn new competences during the project, to express themselves through it and develop soft skills.
- EVO sees itself as the intermediary between the local community and the volunteers. There is no legal obligation between the stakeholders.
- EVO implements operational volunteering actions targeting immediately beneficiaries of Ennasr socio-cultural and sport center.
- EVO Staff is always present and accompany volunteers in their tasks and projects they want to carry out, the latter are integrated in the team but also have the freedom to develop their own initiatives. These activities strengthen their skills and competences for personal, educational, social, civic, cultural and professional development, as well as improve their citizenship.
