Description of organisation

The Republican Youth Public Association “Next Stop - New Life” (NSNL, nsnl.by) was registered in 1991 in Minsk. Since January 2019 the organization has been relocating in Molodechno in connection with the election of a new governing body, relocation and changes of all organization's members. The priority area of organization's ​​activity is the development of partnerships with organizations (commercial and non-profit) in view of joint initiatives implement and ensure their sustainability, as well as the development of cooperation between activists from different fields of activity and implementation some of the UN sustainable development goals into the organization’s activities, namely: sustainable cities, responsible consumption, climate action, reducing inequality and partnership for the goals.

The organization's mission: We unite aware people around us who are ready to change their lives for the better, we teach and learn to understand the other and we are always open to cooperation. We value freedom of expression, creative thinking, desire for development and readiness for action.

The aims of the organization:
- Empowerment of the residents of Molodechno (and not only) to change urban spaces and solve local problems;
-Promotion inclusion in the city and in the social sphere, as well as the involvement of people with disabilities in urban and community programs and projects as actors of change;
- Increasing gender and environmental awareness among the participants in NSNL programs;
- Increasing openness and emancipation among the participants in NSNL programs, the formation of flexible and free thinking;
- Building leadership potential among young people.

We are open to all people who have their own ideas and want to develop them:
- Young activists / youth initiatives;
- Representatives of Belarusian and foreign initiatives and NGOs (non-governmental organizations);
- Residents of Molodechno and activists of local communities from other cities and regions.

Regular activities:
- The city festival "Prishchepka" 2 times a year which is created by the residents of the city (various workshops, trainings, concerts, lectures, entertainments);
- Regular meetings of the discussion club "Molodechno speaks" which discusses the problems of the city and new ideas that can be implemented;
- Summing-up of a year's Partys;
- InspiredBY and InspiredBYregions projects.

Since 2019 NSNL has been a partner of the InspiredBY and InspiredBYregions projects. InspiredBY is an annual, international, four-day event for activists from various fields of activity mainly from Belarus, which takes place in Lithuania and gathers about 140 participants.
InspiredBYregion is a local project that takes place in the regions of Belarus with the aim of exchanging experience and developing cooperation among local activists from different fields of activity to discuss possible solutions of important local issues.
In 2020 it is planned 30 local events of InspiredByregions in 7 regions of Belarus and we believe that cooperation and the exchange of experience will affect positive changes in our country.
Since 2020 in partnership with the Social and Creative Institution “the Center for Development of effective communication Living Library” and with the support of PACT we began to implement the RegiON project (“Including the Region”). The project is an educational program, which consists of different formats (Living Libraries, sincere conversations, social games, forum- theater,larp, ​​lecture and workshop) and works with topics of human rights, equality, non-discrimination, ecology and gender.
Also in 2019 we were as a local partner of the" Inclusive Barista" project, funded by Forum Syd.
We organized an interactive "Try to do" photo exhibition, the main characters of which were people with disabilities.
A number of small projects are supported by commercial organizations, in particular, the 2019 project to create an urban creative space on the territory of the former Street Food was supported by the mobile operator A1.
The project “Creative City Molodechno” was implemented in March-November 2019. The aim of the project was the formation of a strong local community and the wide involvement of city residents in the active process of giving uniqueness to the urban space.
