The CMA, the Chamber of Craft work and enterprise welcomes and trains apprenties at two different locations: on the
Campus of Dinan and on the Campus of Ploufragan. The CMA is a training center for apprenticeship located in Brittany.
Each year, we train about 1400 students. The Contract of Apprenticeship is open to everybody from the age fo 15 to 29
years old.
The Apprenticeship Training Centers gives at the same time to young workers a general training as well as a technical
and practical training as well as an experiment in situ. The trainingship is willing to give a training in order to give to young
people a diploma from Vocational education.
The CMA gives vocationnal training: from Apprenticeship Contract (CAP) to Vocationnal B.A.
Enterprises represented are from different working fields: Food Industry, Tourism and Hotel Industry, Trade and Selling,
Heardressers, Pharmaceutical Industry, Carpentry, Car Industry.
The CMA offer different diplomas: all possible vocational diplomas and post-high school diplomas as BTS or B.A.
Students are coming from all over France. Some of them are interns especially the ones under-18 and other over-18
students often share a flat (tips are given to students looking for rooms).
The objectives of the CMA is to help students to build their personal project and to give them the means to reach their
working goals.
The CMA develops mutiple working trends:
A culture based on values:
- the coaching of candidates and apprenties before their traineeship (answering to all demands, helping them with
traineeship,preventing them from social and practical difficulties)
- the coaching of enterprises: recruitment of students, tutorship
- during the traineeship: coaching of students (in their everyday life and at work) and individual care (pedagogy,
evaluation, work on their autonomy )
- after the traineeship: follow up of students and hand given to the students through information (other trainings, projects,
ERASMUS+ projects)
The CMA is mainly open to 2 topics: - Environment (different kind of projects with students to foster their creativity and
autonomy especially through the understanding of waste management) and International solidarity (trough different kind
of mobilities and the integration of international students)
