Founded more than 150 years ago in Marseille, IRSAM is a big organization which supports children
and adult who mainly have a sensory disability, in specialized institutions.
It curently manages 25 institutes and services in Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur, Auvergne Rhônes Alpes and Reunion.
1350 disabilities persons mainly deaf or blind people.
IRSAM wants to provide the most appropriate answers
to people’s expectations. So it has the will to develop or
strengthen its actions along the following lines :
• Personal service to people for children and adults to promote
social integration and maintain in an ordinary environment
• The protection in the work sector to improve professional
integration
• Specialized training to improve and adapt the quality of
accompaniment
• The early childhood sector to meet the needs of children
with disabilities under the age of 3
• Collaboration with the health sector to detect and guide
children at a young age
• Accompanying old people loss of autonomy
IRSAM is recognized as an expert in sensory inpairement and welcome people :

• Rare handicaps

This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
