Description of organisation

Colégio de Lamego is a private school, whose activity covers the entire compulsory school path (from the 1st year of Basic Education to the 12th year of Secondary Education), from 6 to 18 years old. Founded in 1859, the school aims at the harmonious development of the human being in all its dimensions, based on the humanist identity that characterizes the Beniditin Order that was at the origin of its foundation.

Over the years, the College has responded to local, national and international needs by promoting respect for diversity, multiculturalism and equality.

Until the 9th year we have a common education and in the 12th year we offer all Scientific-Humanistic Courses.

In addition to curricular activities, the school offers daily monitoring of personalized study; exam preparation classes; Online support; Erasmus club; Clube Aventuresca (Adventure sports); Language Club (Spanish, English, French, German); History Club; Dance; Theater; Art; Music; Eco-schools; Skating; Chess; volleyball; futsal; Handball; Swimming; Taekwondo; Yoga; Meditation; Digital communication; Pedagogical Farm; Visionarium (Experimental Sciences and Robotics).
