description of organisation

The Hungarian Voluntary League Association (MÖL) is an ever-expanding umbrella organization that is open to all organizations that base their activities on volunteering. Our members include church, environmental, youth, Roma and cultural organizations based in Hungary, and our supporters include a large number from Transylvania, Vojvodina and Hungary. MÖL was created to create opportunities for volunteers to connect. Through our organization, members can implement joint projects, work together to achieve their goals, and jointly apply for different (domestic or international) sources. Our association and its members have a myriad of good practices in hosting volunteers, youth community service, organizing events, and fundraising. Our members take part in trainings on an ongoing basis, in many cases at events initiated by our member organizations. These trainings also help MÖL become a community worth joining. Our organization aims to train the leaders and members of volunteer-based organizations, providing significant assistance to these NGOs in organizational building and fundraising. Our goal is to help the joint programs implemented by the member organizations, to support the administrative operation of the members, for example: consulting, leadership training. Our association also organizes cultural and community events, mainly (but not exclusively) for the young (18-30 years old) age group. In addition, we undertake significant organizing, implementation and construction tasks for large family events, trainings for the leaders and members of non-governmental organizations. News is regularly published on our website and Facebook page, which not only reflects, but also shapes the various events (organized by us or implemented with our participation). The aim of our Association is to reach, address and involve the above-mentioned target group in the XXI. application and involvement of the technical achievements of the 20th century (internet, smartphone) in the image of modern non-governmental organizations.
