Description of organisation

In 2021 was registered as a NGO «Phoenix Association» in Cherkasy, Ukraine. The Organization was opened by people in order to contribute to the social and personal development of young people. The Organization consists of twenty educated members of different ages, backgrounds and educational experiences, but we are united by one goal.
The main goals of the Organization:
- non-formal education for young people;
- supporting free exchange of experience, knowledge and information in the field of education;
- dissemination of all branches of education and upbringing through seminars, lessons, online events.
- involve young people in active recreation and sports;
- to help young people decide on a professional direction;
- to involve people in art;
- to accustom young people to an ecological way of life.
The main purpose of the Organization is to promote the cultural, educational, social development of young people.
Before we opened the Organization we worked from Phoenix Social Youth Group, which was established in 2012 in Cherkasy, Ukraine.
The main purposes of the Organization is:
 Integrate more people in training;
 Increase knowledge using non-formal education;
 To help people and involve them in help;
 To take an active part in social and public life;
 Promote intercultural understanding, equal opportunities, respect, active citizenship and solidarity;
 Implement sports activities in youth;
 Raise environmental awareness;
 Integrate youth in workshops, international and national projects;
 Active participation in youth exchange program.
Our motto is "Be the best version of yourself". Everyone can be better today than yesterday. Programmes at the SYG are based on the principles of neo-humanism, recognizing that true education lies in the development of all levels of one's being: physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual. Since 2014 we were concerned about the situation in the country and decided that we should provide, above all, moral support to families whose relatives were affected by the fighting. So we organized a community for people who came from the east of the country, who didn't have friends in the new city and needed help. Ass well, one aim of this program focuses on the health aspect of sport. We try to combine mental and physical activity. We are actively engaged in outdoor sports with orphans, conduct outdoor lessons and involve children in environmental issues, trying to raise a generation that will be not indifferent to the future of the planet. We are active in our community - working with children and youth from placement homes, poor families, unemployed and facing other social problems. We are using different kinds of workshops to bring out the best qualities of the youth people which will have a good impact on society in the future.
