Description of organisation

FUNDACION RESIDENCIA DE ANCIANOS Y CENTRO DE SERVICIOS SOCIALES NUESTRA SRA DEL REMEDIO Y SAGRADO CORAZON DE JESUS (hereinafter the FOUNDATION) is a non-profit organisation of a social nature, which owns several social resources in the Municipality of Utiel (Valencia) .
These social resources revolve around 3 centres of different types:
1. Residencia de Diversidad Funcional Los Viñedos II
Intended for people with severe intellectual and mental functional diversity who require comprehensive, continuous, personalised and multidisciplinary care, which cannot be carried out in their family environment.
The residence offers individualised professional care 24 hours a day in modern facilities. It is a unique residence in which users have training and occupational workshops, living rooms, gym, first-aid kit and dining area, as well as double or single rooms that allow them to develop their lives as independently as possible under supervision of professionals.

2. Residencia para la Tercera Edad Los Viñedos
The Residencia Los Viñedos is considered one of the highest quality residences for the elderly in the Valencia area as it has implemented the “Q Residencial” Quality Management System and “ISO 9001: 2008” Standards. It has been established as a Social Health Centre and is registered in the Official Register of Health Centres, Services and Establishments of the Community of Valencia.
Los Viñedos has as its main objective, the comfort, the well-being, the satisfaction and the complete health care for each and every one of the elderly residents.

3. Centro Ocupacional para personas con Diversidad Funcional MARÍA RAFOLS
The C.O. MARÍA RAFOLS, with a primarily therapeutic criterion, aims to achieve maximum social and work integration, within the personal possibilities of the users, through socialisation activities, labour occupational activities, job training, formation of habits of autonomy , therapy and rehabilitation, leisure and free time, job orientation, plus complementary transport and dining services. In this framework, the C.O. is a indispensable tool for the achievement of the full integration of people with functional diversity into the society.
