description of organisation

Apt Musique et Développement is a non-profit association born in 2018. Based in Apt, in the south of France, it is involved in the organization of cultural events. It is notably the organizer of the Insane Festival. In parallel, the organization develops eco-friendly, solidarity and educational projects for youth. Our main objective is the inclusion of young people through volunteering, stimulating the dynamization of exchanges in the territory, and strengthening the local social fabric.

AMD develops different types of activities in order to achieve its objectives. Currently the main activities of AMD are:

- The increasing of the cultural offer by the means of the Insane Festival and the creation of new synergies in the territory from the activities related to the festival
- Volunteering activities
- Eco-friendly actions (litter collection activities, awareness-raising activities on environmental protection…)
- Interventions in Apt’s high school in order to involve the students in a collective project: the organization of a concert with the aim of discovering the professions associated to the event industry and to stimulate their sense of entrepreneurship
- The creation of spaces to encourage debate on relevant current issues (human rights, environmental protection, gender issues...)
- The networking of actors and the creation of partnerships in order to stimulate territorial cooperation

For the years to come, and with the objective of reaching and integrating as many young people as possible in our actions, we will :
- Offer training and activities to young people from the most disadvantaged areas
- Set up workshops for children (writing and musical production)

This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
