Description of organisation

Nivala is a town of over 10 000 inhabitants in Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. Entrepreneurship, work and quality facilities are highly appreciated in the town. Apart from being a traditional agricultural society that is one of the top producers of milk and meat nationally, it’s also home to the largest industrial park in Finland, which has a hundred businesses that together offer jobs to a thousand locals. The town of Nivala is an eager supporter of education, culture and sports.

The well-being branch of the town services employs 20 people and organizes well-being related services for the inhabitants, for example library services, sports facilities, activities and facilities for the youth, and different events including concerts, plays and art exhibitions. The aim is to reach all of the inhabitants to increase the overall well-being of local people.
